They can be made in a combination of materials such as EPDM, CR, NBR, NBR-PVC, ATM, etc., and can be used in the temperature range -20°C to 120°C. The reinforcement material can be rayon, nylon, polyester, or cotton to attain a balance between performance and price. The minimum burst pressure for hoses up to 24 mm in diameter is 8 kg/cm2, and for hoses up to 57 mm is 4 kg/cm2.
